I’m Carrie Doliber. I make complex information easier to understand.

Before I became a designer, I spent 16 years in dental assisting, including seven years in periodontics. Working chairside taught me to listen carefully and pay attention to what people need in the moment. Sometimes that meant helping someone feel comfortable before a procedure. Sometimes it meant explaining what would happen next. That experience still shapes how I approach design. I start by asking what the person on the other end needs to know, feel, or do.

Over the past decade, I’ve brought that perspective to work across automotive, healthcare, hospitality, and entertainment. I’m especially drawn to projects where the information is dense or unfamiliar and the audience needs a clear way in. That might mean organizing an EV sales playbook so information is easier to find or designing a landing page that helps patients picture how they’d use a health app at home.

I’m pursuing graduate study in Integrated Marketing Communications at West Virginia University to deepen the strategy behind my design work. I’m looking for roles where I can help shape the message, stay hands-on with the creative, and build strong working relationships over time.
